FISCHER CUP RACE SERIES 2009

The Fischer Cup is a six race series that offers a $300 CASH prize for the 'Fastest' man and woman in the division, a pair of SWIX TEAM poles for second and SWIX CERA-F wax for third. There are no age classes. The first man and women in each race get 30 points, second gets 29 down to 1 point for 30th place (except for Great Race and Gold Rush, see below). Final totals will be based on the highest 4 out of 5 points given for the Snowshoe Thompson, Tahoe Rim Race (Classic), Paco's XC President's Cup, Sierra Nordic TDXC Relays (Participation Points Only), Great Ski Race, PLUS the Gold Rush (Men) and Silver Rush (Women) Points.

TieBreakers: If two or more individuals are tied at the end of the series, tiebreakers are performed in this order:
#1: The person with the most races completed wins the tie
#2: The person with the most head-to-head wins against the competitor wins the tie
#3: The person with the highest point total BEFORE dropping the minimum race wins the tie.
