Closest city with full service amenities is Truckee, CA, 10 miles east.

From the East:
from Interstate 80 take the Castle Peak Exit, turn right at the stop sign, and right again at the “T”, into the Boreal Mt. Resort parking lot, continue West through the parking lot until you reach the Auburn Ski Club Training Center.

From the West:
from Interstate 80 take the Castle Peak Exit, turn left at the stop sign, and right at the “T”, into the Boreal Mt. Resort parking lot, continue West through the parking lot until you reach the Auburn Ski Club Training Center.

 

The Auburn Ski Club Training Center is 23 miles from Lake Tahoe, the highest lake of its size in the United States, the third deepest lake in North America, and the tenth deepest lake in the world. We are 18 miles from Squaw Valley USA, site of the 1960 Olympics and 10 miles from the historic town of Truckee.
