| Because of very adverse weather conditions at 7 am race morning, the First Annual Tahoe Rim Tour was shortened to a 15 kilometer loop at Tahoe Cross Country for safety reasons. Thank you ALL for participating, and hopefully next year we'll have better weather conditions. | ||

TRT INFORMATION:
The Tahoe Rim Tour is an approximately 30 Kilometer Race from North Tahoe High School (through Tahoe Cross Country Ski Area) to Northstar XC Resort
There are CLASSIC, SKATE, or SNOWSHOE Technique Divisions.
- Start Line: This race will begin at NORTH TAHOE HIGH SCHOOL (not at Tahoe Cross Country)! See the link above for a map to the start.
- Course: The course will go from the High School, to the meadow at Tahoe Cross Country, up Green, Orange ("backward"), Red, Gold, and then meet the Fibreboard Freeway (lower than the Great Ski Race connector). It will then climb over Starrat Pass to the traditional first Soup Station of the Great Ski Race, where it will veer right and travel up and over the Fibreboard to the trails of Northstar. In Northstar, it will travel a winding course through the Lumberjack, Meadow, Sawmill trails, to name a few, to the finish at Northstar Cross Country. (The Snowshoe course will travel a straighter route through Northstar and cut off approximately 2-3 kilometers of distance.)
- Start Times: Classic Division: 8:30 am • Skate/Snowshoe Division: 9:00 am
- Pre-Registration Price: • $45 Adult (Price Includes Hot Lunch and a Commemorative Hat for the first 175 signups) or $10 Junior Registration (Junior Price does not include hat).
- Online registration deadline: Midnight, Friday evening, January 25th. Pre-Registration by mail must be postmarked by Friday, January 18th.
- Pre-Registration and Bib Pickup: Available at Tahoe Cross Country on Saturday from Noon until 4 pm, and at North Tahoe High from 7am to 7:30 am.
- Day-Of-Race Registration: $60 Adult / $15 Junior. (Sunday’s Registration available from 7 - 7:30 am at North Tahoe High School)
- Buses from Northstar back to North Tahoe HS will be available for $5 per person. Make sure to check appropriate box below and use the bus option when paying. Buses will leave Northstar Bus Stop # 7 at Noon, 1 pm, 2 pm, and 3 pm.
- Gear Drop-Off: You will be able to drop your gear at one of our covered pickups at North Tahoe High School, and it will be delivered to the Finish Line right at Northstar Cross Country.
- Awards: Awards will be given for 10-year age groups. Official awards will be at 12:30 pm at Northstar Cross Country.
